Ruszel Woodworks designs and manufactures custom wood products, primarily point of purchase displays and specialty packaging. Located since 1977 in Benicia, California, Ruszel Woodworks has grown into a full service design, manufacturing, and production facility, and is conveniently located just 40 miles northeast of San Francisco (at the base of the Napa Valley).

Sales
The Ruszel Woodworks Sales Force works out of the Benicia office and travels throughout the United States to service our growing customer base. Because allour products are custom designed and manufactured, our sales team and design staff work directly with our customers to develop creative solutions to their packaging or display needs.

Design and Engineering
The Design and Engineering staff provide preliminary sketches, rendered drawings, prototypes, and estimates for the sales department. In addition, they prepare specification drawings, bills of material, and bills of labor for our production department.
Materials Procurement
Our Purchasing Manager stays busy keeping our plant full of raw materials, primarily pine lumber and birch plywood. Our pine is obtained from the Pacific Northwest, directly from the lumber companies that grow pine trees as a crop. Pine is a fast-growing tree and can be harvested without negative impact on the environment. Most of the birch plywood we use is imported from Russia.
Production
Our Production crew utilizes a wide assortment of woodworking machinery, including a CNC router, for precise cutting of parts. Our products are assembled using glue, staples, and screws. The graphics department applies branded or screen printed artwork to products. The finishing department stains and/or lacquers products (using water-based, environmentally friendly materials) to provide a wide variety of surface finishes.
Shipping and Receiving
Our shipping department sends our products knocked down or fully assembled. They can be packed in bulk, on pallets, or in cartons, individually or in multiples, depending on the product. We ship products from our facility by truck, UPS or common carrier. Most product is shipped FOB Benicia, California.
