art specs
Ruszel Woodworks has different art requirements depending on the type of job we are outputting. We use PC workstations for all design jobs. Our main image editing software is Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. If you are submitting artwork designed on a Macintosh, please save the file in a cross-platform compatible format such as a TIFF or EPS (an EPS file is preferred). ART REQUIREMENTS FOR BRANDING
  1. Black and white camera-ready artwork with no halftones, screens, or shading.
  2. All rules and outlines should be 1 point or greater. We recommend that you use bold, sans serif fonts for any type smaller than 12 point. No type should be less than 10 points.
  3. We request all supplied artwork to be "actual size". If not, you may indicate what percentage it should be shot at or what the finished size should be. However, this will incur an additional design charge.
  4. If you are sending a digital file, it must be in TIFF or EPS format at 300 dpi. Again, EPS format is preferred. You may send a JPG file if it is pre-approved and meets the above requirements.
ART REQUIREMENTS FOR SCREEN PRINTING
  1. Color separated (if necessary) film positives at 100% are preferred.
  2. Please indicate all PMS colors.
  3. We will accept actual size black and white camera-ready artwork that has been color separated.
  4. If you are sending a digital file, it must be in TIFF or EPS format at 300 dpi. Again, EPS format is preferred. You may send a JPG file if it is pre-approved and it meets the above requirements
  • CHANGES TO ORDERS IN PRODUCTION WILL RESULT IN DELAYED SHIPMENT AND COULD INCUR ADDITIONAL CHARGES
  • ARTWORK REQUIRING ADDITIONAL LABOR BY RUSZEL WOODWORKS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A DESIGN CHARGE OF $90 AN HOUR. 1/2 HOUR MINIMUM.
